			I just needed to say somewhere. Going through and working on the Science links from EndMyopia. And "''And as usual, a whole lot of modern medicine waits till you are in full blown symptom mode, before sprinting into action.''" & "''Don’t wait till this applies to you.''" from the diabetic retinopathy link. YES. This is exactly why I always end up deciding not to study medicine or study to become an RN or be a dentist or something. I say this all. the. time. Modern medicine as I know it in the US is great if you have a broken leg. Not great if you have a collection of symptoms you're trying to keep from turning into a problem.

			Oh and BTW speaking of dentistry, you (dear reader, may be interested in reading up on silver diamine fluoride. Drill & fill is the "just give them glasses" of the dentistry world in a lot of cases. Contact me if you want me to find you a link.
