Close up work is doing any vision task close to your eyes, this includes reading, phone time, computers, needlework, and many others.

When doing close up work, wear your differentials and follow the 20-20-20 rule

  • Every 20 minutes
  • Look at something 20 feet away
  • For 20 seconds.

The 20-20-20 rule is designed to prevent ciliary spasm and nearwork induced myopia
