Endmyopia:User access groups

Note: most of the permissions on this list aren't yet implemented. Most of them are subject to change.

Also, these user access groups are based on what will happen after the wiki is configured properly.

IP users

IP users can read all articles on the wiki freely, but they cannot edit.

Users

Users are anyone with an account. They can edit pages freely, save for a few protected articles.

Administrators

Becoming an admin is easy, we hand it out like free candy here.

Administrators have the technical ability to perform the following actions:

• Block and unblock user accounts and IP addresses from editing
• Apply, modify, and remove page protection on a particular page to restrict or allow editing, moving, or creation
• Delete pages
• View and restore deleted pages
• Restrict and restore public visibility of information in individual logs and page revisions.
• Edit fully protected pages
• Override the title blacklist
• Move a page to any desired title
• Perform other special actions as listed at Special:ListGroupRights#sysop

Bureaucrats

Bureaucrats can give or take admin powers. They are necessary to stop rogue admins, if we have any in the future.

Janitors

Janitors have all teh powerz. They have unrestricted access to user rights management.
