This template returns indicators for highlighting the result of open proxy checks. The template returns a different indicator depending on the parameter supplied, and is used in the format {{proxycheck|decision}}:

• {{proxycheck|complete}} gives File:Symbol redirect vote.svg Completed
• {{proxycheck|confirmed}} gives File:Symbol keep vote.svg IP is an open proxy
• {{proxycheck|likely}} gives File:Symbol support vote.svg Likely IP is an open proxy
• {{proxycheck|unlikely}} gives File:Symbol unlikely.svg Unlikely IP is an open proxy
• {{proxycheck|possible}} gives File:Symbol possible vote.svg Possible IP is an open proxy
• {{proxycheck|blocked}} gives File:Pictogram voting delete.svg Open proxy blocked
• {{proxycheck|inconclusive}} gives File:Symbol unsupport vote.svg Inconclusive
• {{proxycheck|notaproxy}} gives File:Symbol unrelated.svg Not currently an open proxy
• {{proxycheck|decline}} gives File:Symbol declined.svg Declined to run a check

Failing to give a parameter returns an error message and a list of the possible values.

For convenience, many of these parameters have pseudonyms:

• |complete can also be |completed, |done, or |checked
• |confirmed can also be |open
• |notaproxy can also be |not or |unrelated
• |decline can also be |declined
