There's an extensive Blur article that this and Hyperopic defocus could be merged with.  I think this is valuable to keep as a redirect.  The argument against this is that we could have a lot of study references specific to hyperopic defocus that it would be nice to keep on it's own page.  Dlskidmore (talk) 22:11, 24 June 2020 (UTC)

:Dlskidmore I'd lean more towards keeping them as separate : the defocus versions of the topics can be kept for references to studies, since that's the term the researchers use. So just as wikipedia has links out to "full article" in various places, the blur page can have a little bit about myopic blur, and a link out to "full details" on the myopic defocus page. In a sense, the generic blur topic is a sort of dispatcher to send the different types of blur off to their more detailed articles. Merge defocus articles?

There's an extensive Blur article that this and Hyperopic defocus could be merged with. I think this is valuable to keep as a redirect. The argument against this is that we could have a lot of study references specific to hyperopic defocus that it would be nice to keep on it's own page. Dlskidmore (talk) 22:11, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
