Welcome!
Welcome to the wiki. :) -NottNott (talk) 19:15, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
On talk pages
That's it! Talk pages are just regular pages with a designated purpose. 'User talk:' is the namespace.
At the moment, because the wiki is COMPLETELY stock with no extensions or anything, the notification system won't work well. Normally I can type something like {{re|Dlskidmore}} to notify you regardless of the talk page you posted to. As it stands, you shouldn't get notified if I replied to your message you left on my talk page. I might be wrong, but you shouldn't. -NottNott (talk) 19:36, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
- Yup! You can stack multiple colons to indent as well. Talk pages are pretty easy, don't you think? There's extensions that can make this system even more foolproof, but I really don't think the learning curve is that hard.

So, assuming the notification system was working, and you sent me a message on my talk page:
Something -Dlskidmore
:{{re|Dlskidmore}} Response. -NottNott
Is how discussion would work. -NottNott (talk) 19:45, 18 May 2020 (UTC)

Replace Text
Hey admin, try out Special:ReplaceText. It'll let you do what you're doing across the entire wiki. -NottNott (talk) 19:46, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
So now you tell me... Seriously though, I didn't want a universal replacement, there are a few key references left, and I didn't use the exact same replacement in all cases. Sometimes it was an extraneous word I dropped, sometimes I put lens selection, sometimes lens. Dlskidmore (talk) 01:41, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
Section headers
Heya, thanks for the good edits. Just a heads up, you want to use
==Section title==
with two equal signs on both sides of the title. With only one equal sign, the header is the equivalent of the header at the top of the page. -NottNott (talk) 21:09, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
