Anxiety is probably not Jake/EndMyopia-specific advice, but it shows up a lot in Discord chat. So let's talk about anxiety.

I am experiencing something new about my eyes. Is it going to kill me?

Am I going to go blind? Am I doing this right?! Here are some common urgent reasons to see an eye doctor. If your concern is on this list or some other reputable list of eye emergencies, deal with your eye concern immediately. If there's something else you can do to improve the situation, do it. If there's nothing you can do immediately, make a mental note of the problem and then forget about it until it's time to do something about it (like your next annual eye doctor visit).

Medical Anxiety

Here is a page that will tell you some basic reasons to go to the emergency room or urgent care. If you still aren't sure, you can call a clinic and ask them if they think they need to see you immediately.

If your symptom isn't urgent, and you are generally healthy, take any corrective steps you think are necessary, and then you can probably forget about it. Add it to a mental list to talk to your doctor at your annual vist.

Anxiety can trigger a lot of symptoms. So figuring out how to let some things go can help improve a lot of symptoms.

Letting go of anxiety
