Please export the file from the source wiki using the export utility. Save it to your computer and upload it here. In Chrome, you can drag the download file that appears at the bottom of the browser, straight onto the 'Choose file' button. Try it - it's faster.
The server tends to time out if the .xml file you generate for import is too big. Try generating smaller .xml files from the source wiki and doing import operations more than once.
