- too much Close work
- while wearing glasses that are too powerful ( see Differentials )
- without taking frequent short breaks ( 20-20-20-Rule)
- or getting extended periods of Distance vision
- Not blinking enough, causing Dry eye ( see Computer Vision Syndrome ) - needs reference
