Here are a set of policies about discussing other vision related subjects on the wiki appropriately. Most of this stuff is to avoid poking hornets nests that shouldn't be poked, and also so we give a good apperance to the outside world File:Face-smile.svg

No optometry bashing

Shortcut

We don't want to poke the hornets nest of mainstream optometry. We want to win friends and influence people, not steer them away. Being critical of mainstream optometry w.r.t myopia is all okay, but no shirt-tearing hate pieces.

No bates teachers

No articles about specific Bates method teachers. There are simply far too many to write articles on, and all of their methods are relatively similar and fall into the same category.

Content not creator

Shortcut

When discussing other vision improvement activities made by other people, please comment on the content and not the creator. We won't host ad hominem attacks.
